To participate in the weekly vote, you must register. After registering, you will receive an email with a confirmation link. Once you have confirmed your registration, you will receive a weekly email with a personalized link to the current poll.
What data is processed? All you need to register is a valid email address. As for your name, you can use whatever you like. When it comes to voting, the system only records whether you’ve cast your vote. It’s not possible to track who submitted which scores.
Do all titles have to be rated?
The answer to this question is quite simple. No! For the Top 15 tracks, you just need to rank 5 songs; for the albums, it’s three. Of course, you’re also welcome to share your full list of 15 with us.
I’m not receiving any emails about the voting. What can I do?
Invitations are sent from the email address: ms*******@**wc.de. It’s sometimes helpful to add this address to your whitelist to ensure the emails don’t end up in your spam folder.
Who decides on the new releases?
When selecting new releases, we base our choices on recent releases and feedback from our polls. We also welcome suggestions sent directly via email to Ma****@**wc.de. Bands without a record deal are also welcome to submit their work. When selecting new releases, we strive to include a diverse mix of genres, which may sometimes result in a track being featured a bit earlier or a bit later than others.
